JOB DESCRIPTION:-
- Powertrain Torque Coordination Software Development (Model Based) for Hybrid and Electric vehicles- Passenger Cars and Vans
- Responsible for function development related to coordination of torques from Driver, ESP, RBS, Autonomous driving and various other requesting systems
- Responsible for function development related to shaping of coordinated torque
- Collaboration with teams for defining operating strategy, torque split between various drive modes
- Ensuring Functional Safety in accordance with ISO 26262 through continuous discussions with Functional safety Manager
- Detailed design and SW development of the powertrain and hybrid functions for the Central Powertrain Controller.
- Responsible for design and development of Simulink, TargetLink models as per the guidelines with high-quality Model-based engineering practices.
- Receive, understand and interpret the design from the system team/SW team and develop software.
- Understand & decipher the required inputs and technical requirements
- Coordination with function developers/ Requirement Engineer for clarification
- Execute software development and all tests in scope of the guidelines like unit test, B2B test, Functional test etc
- Support necessary for function/system testing (SIL/HIL/Vehicle)
- Participation in all the necessary Technical and Coordination forums for Information gathering, clarifications and Reporting
ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA–
- Hands on experience with MATLAB / SIMULINK / State flow & Target Link in Powertrain domain or Embedded C development in Powertrain domain
- Software Development Experience for powertrain including fixed-point arithmetic (scaling), Model & Code-quality checks, test Specification, Execution & reporting
- Excellent C programming skills
- Experience in testing at various abstraction Levels– Function/system
- Knowledge of Requirements and Configuration Management tools
- Perl/Python/M scripts- added advantage
- Passion to contribute in the technical depth o n the topics
IMPORTANT POINTS:-
- Knowledge in Autosar is an advantage
- German language is an advantage
- Experience in working with global teams
- Strong interpersonal skills and Open and Positive communication
- Self-motivated / self-starter with the ability to find creative solutions
